History of the Seljuks
The Seljuk originated from the Kinik settlement. Kinik is one of the 24 main branches of Aghuj. The Aghuz settlements lived mainly in Central Asia and Southeast Russia. The Seljuk was the name of a clan chief of a group of kinikas in the 11th century. They settled on the banks of the river Sirdaria and later took refuge in the shadow of Islam. They were first engaged in defending the borders of the Shamanic Empire of Iran and later of Ghaznavir Mahmud. The Seljuks had two grandchildren. One is Chaghari (Chari) Bay, the other is Tugril Bay. The Chagari Bay later controlled the greater Khorasan region, and Tughril Beg developed an empire in western Iran and parts of Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Turkey. As the Seljuks began to gain strength and influence in the frontier areas, Ghaznavir became involved in a war with the Seljuks in 1040, thinking of the threat posed by Sultan Masud's empire. Shortly before the start of the war, the Seljuks launched a covert attack on the Ghaznavids, destroying supplies and leaving them stranded. As a result, the morale and discipline of the Gajanvis was destroyed. Eventually Tughril Bay, Chagari Bay with only sixteen thousand troops, fifty thousand soldiers of the Ghaznavids, twelve or the bull defeated the elephants. Tughril Bay had no children. So be his successor after the death of Tughril Beg - Muhammad Alp Arslan, the son of Chagri Bay, who won the historic Malazgird Maidan against the Crusaders with far fewer warriors and turned Anatolia into the homeland of the Turks
